Earth Hour is this Saturday, March 27, starting at 8:30 pm your local time.
As we approach Earth Hour, this is another reminder for us that we, as Chemstar WATER, are committed to minimizing water use and maximizing energy efficiency resulting in a reduced carbon footprint. When we deal with cooling systems, boiler systems, all of the improvements we make have a direct impact on water and energy use. As Chemstar WATER, we envision a global economy that uses business as a force for good, is purpose-driven, and creates benefit for all stakeholders; our people, our communities, our planet, not just shareholders. Thus, we keep this interdependence in mind in whatever we do.
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The annual event encourages individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights, for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on a specific day towards the end of March, as a symbol of commitment to the planet.
As a company, we will be taking part and encourage you to join us in increasing awareness and reducing our footprint!
